FDA/GSA has submitted a revised (8 Mar 02) Master Plan to its previously approved (1997) Master Plan for the Consolidation of FDA at White Oak. The 1997 plan projected a 6000 employee work force in some 2.1 million square feet of office, laboratory and shared use space on 130 acres. The 2002 revised plan projects a 6256 employee work force in some 2.3 million square feet of space on the same 130 acres. The 2002 revised plan also includes an area dedicated to future expansion of the facility.
The occupancy time table which is subject to appropriation of funds has been altered somewhat. Move in dates are now:
